Remnant Church community gathering across generations

Something had to change.

Green Bay has nearly as many churches as bars.

People in our city are clearly searching for something. Remnant began with a simple conviction: church should be a place where questions are welcome, relationships are real, and people have room to find their way.

THE BEGINNING

We started with people, not a program.

What began as one location of a larger multi-site church eventually became something we hadn't planned: a little community with a life of its own.

We weren't interested in building a bigger production. We wanted to build deeper relationships.

A place where people could know and be known. Where questions weren't threatening. Where faith could be honest. Where people actually walked through life together.

Less production. More connection.

AROUND THE TABLE

We found ourselves coming back to the table.

So much of Jesus’ ministry—and the life of the earliest church—happened around tables. People ate together. Talked together. Asked questions. Shared what they had. Took care of each other.

And something happened when they did.

And something happened when they did.

People who were cared for became people who cared for others.

A DIFFERENT KIND OF CHURCH

A safe place to bring your whole self.

A place to land

Some people haven’t given up on God. They’ve just struggled to find themselves in traditional church.

They’re not looking for more pressure, performance, or polish. They’re looking for a place where they can be honest, be known, ask real questions, and take their next step at their own pace.

A place where belonging doesn’t depend on believing all the right things first.

Why “Remnant”

In Scripture, a remnant is what remains—sometimes small, sometimes overlooked, but never forgotten by God.

We love that image.

Because a remnant isn't worthless just because it doesn't fit where it once did. It's kept because it still has purpose. It still belongs. And sometimes it's exactly what's needed to make something whole again.

WHY WE’RE HERE

We’re here to help people find their way back to Jesus—and to one another.

We gather around tables, open the Bible, ask honest questions, and stay in conversation long enough for faith to take root in real life.
